These handmade ceramic coffee cups are the beautiful new creation from Swiss artist, Anna from Le Papillon Keramik. They are made of stoneware clay, a strong and durable material. Handmade in her studio in St Gallen, she throws them on her potters wheel and then, when leather hard she trims them. After the bisque firing at 980 degrees she sands every product so they get a lovely surface, ready for glazing. The cups are then dipped in a white glaze twice to create the different shades of color. They have a smooth finish and feel great in your hand. Anna says that with her products, “joy and beauty move into your cupboards, onto your tables and onto your shelves.” They hold approximately 210ml.
